Why interactive play matters
Playing interactive games with your dog helps teach them manners, and you set the rules. These sessions create bonds so strong that dogs begin to behave better in public, around other pets, and during gatherings.
Toys that don't require your involvement don't give your dog feedback about you. Dedicate 10–15 minutes of interactive play daily to build a strong relationship and keep your dog's mind sharp. Dogs are pack animals; social play is essential.
Use the puppet to engage your puppy with sneak attacks, teasing, or role-play. Watch how they play: are they dominant? Submissive? If you notice problems, you can address them early.
